GIVE WHAT KIDS NEED
We keep a short list of what kids actually need and only take items from it, in the condition listed. Every offer is reviewed before we say yes. If we can take it, we pick up free anywhere within 50 miles of Westland, MI, or you drop it off.

- Glue sticks, scissors, rulers, erasers and highlighters · newUnopened.
- Calculators (basic or scientific) · new, like newWorking, with the cover if it came with one.
- Lunch boxes and water bottles · newNew only, for hygiene.
- Headphones or earbuds for school · newNew in package. Many schools require them.
- Socks and underwear (kids sizes) · newNew in the package only.
- Shirts, pants and sweatshirts (kids sizes) · new, like newClean, no stains, rips or missing buttons. Tell us the sizes.
- School uniform polos and khakis (kids sizes) · new, like newClean, no stains. Tell us the sizes.

- Sneakers (kids sizes) · new, like newClean pairs, no holes, laces included. Tell us the sizes.

- Toys for giveaways · newNew in package only. These go straight into treat bags and community giveaways.

What we cannot take

Kids Who Go Without
Backpacks, supplies, coats and hygiene items go straight to kids and families who need them, handed out at schools and community events.
Schools That Cannot Pay
Many under-resourced schools have nothing left in the budget for speakers. Donations help bring the program to those buildings anyway.
Community Events
Family nights, giveaways and events like A Night For Drayke run on donated items and the people who show up for them.
